Possible financial compensation

Anyone who is injured by an intentional act of violence within the sovereign territory of the Federal Republic of Germany and suffers a health disorder as a result may assert a claim to social compensation, including medical treatments, trauma therapy and, in special cases, social benefits pursuant to social compensation law (Soziales Entschädigungsrecht). Additionally, different foundations, funds, and associations offer financial compensation under certain circumstances.
